Instructions for Registering Your Kazakhstan Child:

1. You need a quick note just asking the Kaz officials to register your child
2. Your child's original passport
3. The completed application form
4. Passport sized photo to attach to the form (if your child isn't smiling, please also include another photo, normal size, showing that your Munchkin is happy to be home - that way they won't think your child is unhappy)
5. Xeroxes of all the Kaz documents (birth certificate, adoption certificate, court order) In English and Russian, if you have it.
6. Xeroxes of anything you've gotten from America - green card, new passport, Social Security Card, re-adoption papers or birth certificates, whatever, if you've had time to get anything
7. Money Order for $70 made out to "The Embassy of Kazakhstan"
8. Pre-Paid mailer for return of the passport
9. I charge $20 to take these things through and make sure you get your child's passport back.
